Lazio are still searching for a new backup striker and Juventus’ Arkadiusz Milik is the latest to be added to the list.
The Biancocelesti have now secured qualification to the Champions League, allowing them to plan for the summer transfer window with the added resources that the competition brings.
Injuries to Ciro Immobile this season have made it clear how dire of a need Lazio have of a new backup striker, and Claudio Lotito has every intention of satisfying Maurizio Sarri in the summer.
As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), the idea of signing Milik emerged in a meeting between Sarri and Lotito, with the Italian coach remembering the Polish striker well from their time together at Napoli.
The 30-year-old would be a good fit for the squad in Rome and add another layer to the team’s attack. He could also be included by Juventus in a possible deal for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
