Lazio managed to stay focused amidst the party atmosphere at the Stadio Olimpico, stealing a 3-2 win over Serie B bound Cremonese.
The Biancocelesti took an early lead thanks to Elseid Hysaj and doubled their advantage before half time thanks to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, giving them a 2-0 lead after 45 minutes.
Things changed after the half time break, however, and Pablo Galdames clawed one back for the Grigiorossi before a puzzling own goal from Manuel Lazzari drew the away side level.
Lazio pushed back and their efforts were finally rewarded in the 89th minute, when star midfielder Milinkovic-Savic bundled home a header to secure all three points for the home side in a 3-2 win.
The Biancocelesti fans were in a good mood, celebrating the win, the Champions League qualification and the 10th anniversary of the Coppa Italia final win over Roma. The players wore special black and gold shirts to commemorate the triumph, and multiple former players were invited to attend the game.
