Lazio posted a special video celebrating long-time club legend Stefan Radu in his last ever appearance at the Stadio Olimpico.
The 36-year-old Romanian defender – who is the club’s record appearance holder with 427 – will hang up his boots and retire once his contract expires with the Biancocelesti at the end of June.
Lazio celebrated his career and loyalty to the club, giving Radu a guard of honour and a fond farewell at the Stadio Olimpico.

Speaking to Lazio Style Channel after the match, Radu discussed his time with Lazio and how it feels to finally be leaving the team.
I’m so emotional. Unfortunately, I came to the end. On the pitch I’ve always had your soul, that of a Lazio fan.
With this shirt I’ve lived my life as a footballer. Lazio is a family, and this pitch is home for me. I thank you, I’ve never felt alone, in victory and in defeat.
I’m certain that my attachment to Lazio will never end. I thank the president and the club that allowed me to realise my dream, to say goodbye to football in this shirt.
I thank all my team-mates, the technical staff of these years. When I wore the Biancocelesti shirt, I did it with all my heart and passion. Now I know what it means to be one of you.
