Reports from Turkey suggest that Lazio have presented an offer to Galatasaray for winger Kerem Akturkoglu.
The Biancocelesti have secured Champions League football and are now working on their summer transfer window plans, wanting to bring in four or five new reinforcements for Maurizio Sarri’s squad.
Whilst Sarri has done well with Lazio in his first two years, it’s clear that there’s a serious lack of depth in the squad, limiting his options on the bench and forcing him to focus on one competition, rather than competing on multiple fronts.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), sources in Turkey suggest that Lazio have approached Galatasaray to make an offer for Akturkoglu, proposing a deal worth €15 million for the 24-year-old winger.
The Turkish champions are hoping to sell the player for €20 million plus a 20% future resale clause. The two parties will meet again in the coming days to try and iron out an agreement.
This season, Akturkoglu has scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.
