Lazio Keen to Pick Up Tottenham Loanee Bryan Gil

Lazio are searching for a new winger for Maurizio Sarri’s squad and believe Tottenham loanee Bryan Gil may be the perfect option.

The Biancocelesti are working to add some more firepower to the squad in the Italian capital following their successful qualification to the Champions League.

One thing that became apparent this season was that Lazio couldn’t compete on multiple fronts due to a lack of options on the bench, something Sarri is hoping the club will fix with four or five reinforcements in the coming months.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio have been keen to make a move for Sassuolo talisman Domenico Berardi this summer but are aware that it won’t be easy to pry him from Reggio-Emilia, so have begun looking around for alternatives.

Sarri believes that Bryan Gil may be the right option; the 22-year-old Spaniard will return to Tottenham at the end of this month after a successful six-month spell on loan with Sevilla, where he helped the team win the Europa League.

The Lazio coach thinks that he can take the talented winger to the next level, like he did with Felipe Anderson and Mattia Zaccagni.
