Opta released their Top XI for the 2022-23 Serie A season and two Lazio players made the cut – goalkeeper Ivan Provedel, who kept 21 clean sheets in 38 games, and midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who scored nine goals and provided eight assists across 36 matches.
In Sofascore’s Serie A Team of the Season, two Lazio players were included – Provedel again, who was the standout shot stopper of the season, and winger Mattia Zaccagni, who scored 10 goals and provided seven assists in 35 league games.
