Luis Alberto Receives Lucrative Offer From Saudi Arabia

Lazio star Luis Alberto has reportedly received an incredibly lucrative offer from an unnamed Saudi Arabian club.

The 30-year-old Spanish midfielder shined in the Italian capital this season, consistently showing his magic and flair under Maurizio Sarri. With a contract expiring in 2025, the Italian coach has made it clear that he doesn’t want to lose the player this summer.

Lazio have been in talks with Luis Alberto, hoping to tie down the Spaniard to a new long-term contract, but his hefty wage demands have caused negotiations to slow down in recent days.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), an unnamed Saudi Arabian side has offered Luis Alberto a five-year contract worth €6 million net per season, whilst also offering Lazio €15 million for the player.

For the moment, Claudio Lotito has put up a wall around the 30-year-old, but he knows that he’ll need to quickly find an agreement with the midfielder, who wants a five-year contract worth €4 million net per season, a significant raise compared to his current deal.
