Lazio have set up around seven friendlies for their upcoming pre-season, wanting to be fully prepared for the 2023-24 season.
The Biancocelesti are gearing up for their usual pre-season retreat to the idyllic mountain town of Auronzo di Cadore, where they’ll carry out a short training camp before jetting off to face multiple top sides in friendly matches.
Maurizio Sarri places significant importance on the pre-season, aware that players need time to learn and adapt to his 4-3-3 system in the Italian capital. Lazio are hoping to carry out some transfer market business before their training camp kicks off in July.
As reported by Radiosei (via LazioNews24), Lazio will play four friendly matches during their two-week training camp in Auronzo di Cadore, facing Auronzo on 16th July, Primorje on 20th July, Triestina on 23rd July and Alessandro Nesta’s Reggiana on 27th July.
The Biancocelesti will leave Auronzo on 28th July and will take a few days rest. After this, they’ll head to England to face Aston Villa on 3rd August, before playing Barcelona on 8th August and Juventus on 13th August.
