Claudio Lotito has decided to revolutionise Lazio’s transfer market work following the departure of Igli Tare, setting up a ‘Talent Room’.

The Albanian sporting director ended an 18-year association with the Biancocelesti this month, ending an important period in the club’s history.

Whilst Tare did impress with the limited budget available to him – picking up stars like Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto – his work in recent years started to call his abilities into question, with flop signings like Vedat Muriqi and Denis Vavro failing to impress.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lotito has created a ‘Talent Room’ at Lazio to improve their work on the transfer market.

Angelo Fabbiani and Gianni Picchioni will work together in this new ‘Talent Room’, assisted by two younger figures who’ll be trained in scouting and talent identification.

The goal is to improve the club’s work on the transfer market and give Maurizio Sarri the tools necessary to continue growing his project in the Italian capital.
