Juventus have reportedly prepared a new swap deal for Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, hoping to send Denis Zakaria to Rome.
The 28-year-old Serbian midfielder will almost certainly leave the Biancocelesti this summer, only having one year left on his contract and not wanting to sign a new deal. Milinkovic-Savic wants to join a top side in the prime of his career and Lazio are now working to find the best offer for him.
Lazio initially hoped to secure around €40 million in cash for Milinkovic-Savic, but so far no concrete offers have matched this, forcing Claudio Lotito to start lowering his requests in order to avoid losing the Serb on a free transfer.
As reported by Il Tempo (via LazioNews24), Juventus have offered Lazio €15 million plus Denis Zakaria for Milinkovic-Savic, hoping to beat out competition from Inter.
Lotito will discuss the idea with Sarri, but it’s hard to imagine him accepting the offer considering his resistance to player exchange deals.
Zakaria spent last season on loan with Chelsea, where he struggled for consistent playing time amidst tactical choices and injury troubles.
No way Zakaria is garbage .
I wonder how much truth is in that Simone wanting him at Inter, together with Frattesi but he’d rather have SMS etc because it matters if both teams are truly pushing.
If one is papertalk only to try raise the price then I have a feeling Juve might have the edge (altough Sergej wants CL football).
I will wait instead of giving myself extra anxiety…
If Sarri rates Zakaria I don’t care anymore if he goes to Rubentus
