Lazio are working to secure a deal for Sassuolo talisman Domenico Berardi and a helping hand is coming from a number of stars in the squad.
The 28-year-old Italian winger is one of the Biancocelesti’s top targets for this summer and Claudio Lotito has already been in close contact with the Neroverdi, keen to finalise a deal before the start of the pre-season training camp.
Recent reports suggested that Lazio had agreed personal terms with Berardi, who is willing to sign a four-year contract worth €2.5 million net per season.
As reported by Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the Italian players in the Lazio squad have been in constant contact with Berardi, pushing for him to join the club in the coming weeks.
Led by captain Ciro Immobile, who knows the winger well, the group are keen to welcome the Sassuolo talisman in Rome.
Talks have also been held with Davide Frattesi, but a move to the Italian capital looks unlikely for the midfielder, who is strongly wanted by Inter and Juventus.
