Lazio Star Milinkovic-Savic Wants to Join Juventus

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic wants to join Juventus this summer as talks continue with Lazio, reports detail.

The 28-year-old’s contract expires with the Biancocelesti next year and he’s not willing to pen a new deal, forcing Claudio Lotito to find a buyer this summer to avoid losing the star midfielder on a free transfer.

Lazio had hoped to secure around €40 million for Milinkovic-Savic but a lack of offers made it clear that the club would need to lower their price tag. A fee of around €30 million now seems to be enough to pry the Serb from Rome.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Milinkovic-Savic has clearly communicated his desire to join Juventus and they are now discussing a deal with Lazio, believing the Serbian star would be the perfect replacement for Adrien Rabiot.

Some players, like Luca Pellegrini and Nicolo Rovella, could be included in the deal to lower the overall costs. Much also depends on if Rabiot decides to leave on a free transfer later this month or not.
