Lazio Kickstart Talks for Dnipro Striker Dovbyk

Lazio are on the hunt for a reliable striker and have opened talks with Dnipro for Artem Dovbyk, reports suggest.

The Biancocelesti clearly had a void in their frontline following the relatively recent departures of Vedat Muriqi and Felipe Caicedo, pushing them to find a replacement this summer. The team’s successful qualification to the Champions League gives them greater resources to work with.

Lazio are considering a long list of possible options to strengthen their attack, including Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi and Santos’ Marcos Leonardo. They’ve continued to work hard in the days leading to the transfer window and now seem to be working on another deal.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio have contacted Dnipro to start exploring a possible move for Dovbyk, who is valued at around €10-12 million plus add-ons.

The Biancocelesti are fans of the 26-year-old Ukrainian, but are not alone in their interest, with Torino and clubs from multiple other leagues all keen to snap up the striker.
