Lazio are looking to send out youngster Romano Floriani Mussolini on loan and two Serie B sides have emerged to register their interest.
The 20-year-old right back joined the Biancocelesti youth system in July 2016 from intercity rivals Roma and spent time on loan with Vigor Perconti as he progressed up the ranks. The Italian still hasn’t made his debut for the first team yet, but has trained with them often.
Floriani Mussolini featured prominently for the Lazio Primavera side this season, helping them secure promotion to the topflight. Across his 21 appearances, he provided six assists, showing signs of his talent.
As reported by Radiosei (via LazioNews24), newly promoted Serie B sides Catanzaro and Feralpisalo are interested in picking up Floriani Mussolini on loan, keen to add the Lazio talent to their squads.
The 20-year-old recently penned a new contract with the Biancocelesti, tying him to the club until June 2026, and the team want him to gain more experience in first team football before considering his promotion to Maurizio Sarri’s squad.
