Arsenal Never Considered Milinkovic-Savic but Juventus Remain Keen

Despite the reported interest, Arsenal were never planning to make a move for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer, but Juventus are still open to a move.

The 28-year-old Serbian midfielder seems destined to leave Lazio this summer after deciding not to renew his contract, leaving just 12 months on his current deal. His agent Mateja Kezman has already spoken to a long list of clubs, trying to find offers for his client.

Despite the market noise in recent years, things have been a little more quiet for Milinkovic-Savic this year, creating some fears that he could end up leaving Rome on a free transfer in 12 months’ time.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Arsenal had been interested in Milinkovic-Savic in the past but were not keen to make a move this summer, despite various media reports.

Juventus reached a verbal agreement with his agent Kezman back in November and are still open to making a move, but first would need to sell a few more players to generate the necessary resources.

  1. If Rovella is not included, don’t sell to Juve.

I’m sure Simone is doing everything he can to get Sergej (especially if the reports that Inter consider Sassuolo to be asking for Frattesi too much) so I’d rather see him in black&blur then zebra colours.
