Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Lazio are considering making a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes.
The 29-year-old Argentinian midfielder spent this season on loan with Juventus, where he struggled to make a significant impact across his 35 total appearances for the club. He returned to Paris this month and is expected to leave again in the coming weeks.
Lazio are still looking around for midfield reinforcements and are focusing their efforts on Galatasaray’s Lucas Torreira, but other targets are also being considered.
Di Marzio details how Lazio have added Paredes to their list of possible options this summer, aware that it would be a low-cost deal considering that his contract expires with PSG next year.
Milan and Inter are also both considering a move for the 29-year-old, who would be happy to stay in Italy and compete in the Champions League.
Paredes has a history in Italy, having played 54 games for Roma from July 2014 to July 2017.
