Lazio Switch Focus From Berardi to Orsolini

Lazio have reportedly started gearing up for a move for Riccardo Orsolini after moving away from Domenico Berardi.

The Biancocelesti were incredibly keen to sign the Sassuolo talisman this summer and quickly agreed personal terms with the winger, but the Neroverdi raised their demands from €20 million to €30 million, a price considered too high in the Italian capital.

Lazio are not willing to match these requests unless they manage to sell Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, which doesn’t look likely to happen soon, so they’ve started to switch focus to other targets.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio have contacted Bologna to start exploring a move for Orsolini, who only has a year left on his contract in Emilia-Romagna.

The 26-year-old is valued at around €15 million, and Claudio Lotito is willing to offer around €10-12 million plus add-ons for the player. The Roman club could also try to include Matteo Cancellieri, a player appreciated by Bologna, into the deal.
