Sooner or Later, Milinkovic-Savic Will Head to Juventus

Juventus are hard at work on their outgoing market as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic waits to make the move to Turin.

The 28-year-old Serbian star has already chosen not to sign a new contract with Lazio and has been transferred listed for this summer, with the club keen to avoid losing him on a free transfer in 12 months’ time.

Despite the interest, no concrete offers have arrived for Milinkovic-Savic and Lazio are now seemingly open to letting him leave for around €30 million, lower than the initial €40 million that they hoped for.

As reported by Tuttosport (via LazioNews24), Juventus are pushing to sell Denis Zakaria for around €18-20 million, resources that would be key in their quest to sign Milinkovic-Savic.

After the Swiss midfielder, the club will start working on the exits of Weston McKennie and Arthur Melo.

Those close to the Serbian midfielder suggest that he is hungry to join Juventus this summer and if a move fails to materialise, he’d wait until next year to join on a free transfer.

  1. Well I don’t believe for a second that he leaves on a free. He is a man of his word and he said that he won’t let Lazio empty handed so let’s see.

I am though shocked that a PL club hasn’t called yet, it’s a bargain for them for ‘peanuts’ money.
