Bologna Reject First Lazio Offer for Orsolini

Bologna have reportedly turned down Lazio’s first offer for Riccardo Orsolini, but a new proposal is expected to be made soon.

The Biancocelesti want to sign a new right winger to bolster Maurizio Sarri’s attack and their primary target seemed to be Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi, whose price tag proved prohibitive.

Lazio have now turned their attention to Orsolini, who only has a year left on his contract with Bologna, making him far more accessible.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio offered Bologna around €7 million for Orsolini, which was quickly rejected as they’re hoping to secure at least €15 million for the 26-year-old.

The Biancocelesti now have two options to consider: sending in a better offer worth around €10 million or confirming the €7 million offer by including Matteo Cancellieri in the deal.

The latter idea may prove fruitful, considering that Bologna are fans of Cancellieri, who shares the same agent as Orsolini.

  1. Apparently Sahas agent stated all 3 offers are agreed upon in principle from Lazio, Fenerbahce and Al Nasr. Basically the player needs to decide where he wants to play and Lazio are the only team offering Champions League football and the contract is rumoured to be 4 years.

I don’t know if we go for both Orsolini and Saha so it’s all still speculation at this point. Patience Laziale brothers and sisters, patience.
