The agents of Luis Alberto visited the Lazio headquarters yesterday to finalise the details of his new contract with the club.
The 30-year-old Spaniard agreed to the terms of a new deal with the Biancocelesti last month but things fell quiet and reports emerged suggesting that the club were reconsidering their options.
Maurizio Sarri has made it clear that he doesn’t want to lose Luis Alberto this summer and the player is happy to stay, having rejected a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.
As detailed by Alfredo Pedulla, Luis Albert’s entourage arrived in Rome yesterday to meet with Lazio president Claudio Lotito, working to finalise the details of his new contract.
The Spanish midfielder will sign a new four-year deal worth around €3.5-4 million net per season plus add-ons, with an option for a fifth year.
Lazio are keen to complete his renewal as soon as possible, allowing them to fully focus their efforts on the transfer market.
LOVE it!
