Zaha Leaning to Lazio Move as Paratici Helps Talks

Wilfried Zaha is seriously thinking about joining Lazio on a free transfer and Fabio Paratici is playing a role in the talks, reports suggest.

The 30-year-old Ivorian winger is currently a free agent after his contract with Crystal Palace came to an end last week. A new four-year deal has been prepared, but no agreement has been reached.

On Tuesday this week, Sky Sports claimed that Zaha had agreed personal terms with Lazio as well as a few other clubs like Fenerbahce and Al-Nassr.

As reported by Jacque Talbot of FootballTransfers, Zaha is growing increasingly keen on the idea of playing for Lazio, with Champions League football possibly being a deciding factor.

Interestingly, former Juventus and Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici – who was handed a two-and-a-half-year ban for his role in a capital gains case – has been playing a role in the deal.

Last season, Zaha scored seven goals and provided two assists in 27 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace.
