Why Lazio Rejected Chance to Sign Free Agent Cuadrado

Lazio have been offered free agent Juan Cuadrado several times, but the club are not interested in making a move for the veteran winger.

The 35-year-old Colombian is currently available on a free transfer after his contract with Juventus came to an end last week, ending an eight-year association with the club.

Lazio are in the market for a new right winger and could need a right back should Manuel Lazzari end up being sold this summer.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Cuadrado’s entourage have approached Lazio multiple times to offer their client’s services, but the club have made it clear that they’re not interested in picking up the 35-year-old.

Despite Maurizio Sarri’s appreciation of the Colombian winger, his various physical concerns and expensive wages have pushed the Biancocelesti to decline the chance to snap him up this summer.

Last season, Cuadrado scored two goals and provided four assists across 47 total appearances for Juventus.

    1. Idk about that but Cuadrado has simulated more than any LB/RB/Defender I have seen in Serie A.

Milos Kerkez is our target who is half his age and actually has room for improvement and not declining.
