Lazio have opened talks with Hertha Berlin to start exploring a possible deal for winger Dodi Lukebakio.
The Biancocelesti are working on selling star midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal, a deal that’ll bring in vital resources and allow them to start making moves in the transfer market.
The club have many areas of the squad they want to improve this summer, keen to pick up a striker, a right winger, a left back, and one or two midfielders.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) and Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio have contacted Hertha Berlin to start sounding out a move for Lukebakio.
The 25-year-old Belgian winger, who only has a year left on his contract with the German side, shined last season in the Bundesliga, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists in 32 league games.
Hertha’s relegation means they’re happy to cash in on Lukebakio, who has a €12 million price tag. Talks are ongoing and updates are expected in the coming days.
