Rumours Claim Immobile Has Agreed Personal Terms With Saudi Club

Rumours from Saudi Arabia suggest that Lazio captain Ciro Immobile has verbally agreed to a contract with an unnamed Saudi club.

Local journalist Turki Alghamdi details how the 33-year-old Italian striker has reportedly agreed to a contract worth just under €15 million net per season with a €5 million signing bonus.

The agreement was not reached with one of the four clubs recently backed by sovereign wealth fund PIF, so the unnamed team will now meet with the Ministry of Sport to try and find funding for the deal.

Lazio do not want to lose Immobile, so it would take an incredibly lucrative offer to convince them to give up on their talismanic centre forward.

Should the Ministry not agree to fund the deal, the unnamed Saudi club would instead turn their attention to Atalanta’s Luis Muriel and several other alternatives.

Immobile is contracted to Lazio until June 2026 and has made it clear that he expects to close out his career with the club, so it’s difficult to imagine this deal being completed.
