Lotito Sets Lazio Budget for Summer Transfer Window

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has reportedly decided the parameters of the club’s budget for the summer transfer window.

The Biancocelesti did well last season, qualifying for the Champions League with their second-place finish. One clear limitation, however, was a lack of strong options on the bench.

Lazio have been quiet in the summer so far but this week sold star midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal, earning around €42 million total from his departure.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lotito has set a €60 million budget for Lazio for this summer’s transfer window, wanting to pick up around five or six new players.

The reason for this figure is due to the various other costs associated with transfers, like commissions and fees.

The Biancocelesti have a few key roles which need to be filled this summer, including a backup striker, a replacement for Milinkovic-Savic and a right winger.

A number of players are being considered and business could start being completed in the coming weeks.

  1. Nah, you are pushin our intelligence here or playing the card to not be held ransom and clubs start to overprice their players coz they know we have way more budget. I get it, salaries and commissions are part of the process if buying palyers bit I also know that we sold Escalante for 5 and if SMS was 42 only these two alone are 47mil. I am certain Cancellieri will be sold and he can’t go under 5 plus the 5 mil that we get for the Saudi coppa (participation only) we are at €57mil.

Are you telling me that the rest: Champions League+ finishing 2nd+ TV rights + the season tickets you are selling now and the shirt& merchandise) we have 3 more milions then what we just sold, includint our MVP?

My patience is very low Lotito and I might forgive this if tonight before I go to bed I read 3 new: Berrardi and Kerkez signed, Sarri happy with your tempo on the market and last the stadium project accepted and workes have started. Otherwise… you are very much behind every direct rivals of ours who have signed by now two players and plan their 3rd and 4th.

Again, I’m losing my patience and I am part of the few who keep supporting u but not for long because Lazio is above all and you seem to have taken it on a downhill since you rightfully left Tare go. Don’t make us(and yourself) regret that decision.

  2. One more thing: you have the chance that doesn’t come across often so GRAB IT and dedicate day and night for the next month and a half to satisfy the Mister. That’s the most important of all for our season to start well and the players to buy into it and get hyped.

    Forza Lazio Sempre 🤍💙

  3. Calm down Burky, this is just to stop clubs trying to over charge for their players. Classic tactic. I’ll be happy if we get kerkez castellanos and a cm (all linked are decent). Until the window closes…anything Less would be a major f up.

  4. Lottito only wanted to see European teams will spank his team at least 5 or more goals. His team always contribute Serie A teams in UEFA coefficient ranking in most bad ways. If not for Lazio, Serie A teams get more points every year. Lazio has been worse number 1 Serie A representative teams of last 15 years. Lotitto is sticky and blood sucking out of Lazio fans.
