Felipe Anderson Attracts Attention From Saudi Arabia

Reports suggest that three Saudi Arabian clubs have set their sights on Lazio winger Felipe Anderson.

The 30-year-old Brazilian winger returned to the Biancocelesti in the summer of 2021 after a difficult three-year spell with West Ham.

He has grown into an important part of Maurizio Sarri’s squad in the Italian capital and last season scored 12 goals and provided nine assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Al-Ittihad, Al-Shabab and Al-Ahli are all interested in making a move for Felipe Anderson this summer.

The Brazilian winger has been left disappointed by the lack of contract renewal negotiations since his return from holiday recently.

He was promised a new deal, which would’ve raised his salary from €2.5 million to €3.5 million net per season, extending his stay until 2027.

Lazio captain Ciro Immobile also reportedly received offers from Saudi clubs recently but rejected them, whilst Sergej Milinkovic-Savic left for Al-Hilal earlier this week.

  1. Hand off of him! Felipeto, since Sergej left is top3 players and 0 chances to let him go!

Lotito this is an absolute NO, don’t even entertain the thought.

  2. Depends how much they offer as a transfer fee. You could have a situation where you sell Felipe and buy berardi but only if you are making money on the deal. First choice would be to renew that contract and keep him as he’s well settled back with Lazio

    1. West Ham retain a massive chunk of a sale so as long as the arabs keep their offers under 60-70 mil.. no chance
