Milos Kerkez has decided that he wants to join Lazio this summer and has personally informed AZ Alkmaar, reports suggest.
The Biancocelesti are in the market for a new left back and set their sights on the Hungarian teenager after Maurizio Sarri highlighted his qualities in the Europa Conference League clash with AZ last season.
Recent reports claimed that Lazio had submitted an offer to AZ for Kerkez, a €2.5 million loan deal with an €11 million obligation to buy clause attached.
As reported by TMW, Lazio are still working to agree a deal with AZ but have been given a slight boost by Kerkez, who has made his desire to join the club clear.
The Eredivisie side are hoping to receive around €15 million for the 19-year-old left back, who scored five goals and provided seven assists across 52 total appearances last campaign.
Lazio will sit down to discuss terms with AZ in the coming days and both parties are keen to reach an agreement soon.
