Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Lazio have started to explore a move for FC Midtjylland winger Gustav Isaksen.
The Biancocelesti are currently in the process of completing their first signing of the summer transfer window, picking up New York City striker Valentin Castellanos in a deal worth around €20 million total.
Maurizio Sarri still expects four or five more reinforcements to arrive this summer to help Lazio compete on multiple fronts, and one of his key targets is a new winger.
As reported by Di Marzio, Lazio have opened talks to start exploring a move for Isaksen, who is contracted to Midtjylland until 2025.
Milan also expressed interest in the 22-year-old but decided to focus on other targets instead like Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic, giving the Biancocelesti the chance to swoop in.
Isaken shined last season for Midtjylland, scoring 22 goals and providing nine assists in 45 appearances across all competitions, including netting twice against Lazio in the Europa League group stages.
