Lazio Receive Saudi Offer for Immobile

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has reportedly received an offer from Saudi Arabia for talismanic striker Ciro Immobile.

Saudi Arabian clubs, four of which have new backing from the sovereign wealth fund PIF, have been incredibly active in the summer transfer window, picking up numerous well-known players from Europe like Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante.

Lazio have already carried out some business with a Saudi club, selling Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal last week for around €42 million.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio have received an offer worth around €35 million for Immobile from an unnamed Saudi club – possibly either Al-Shabab or Al-Wheda.

The 33-year-old Italian striker has reportedly been offered a two-year deal with an option for a third, worth around €18 million net per season.

Recent media reports claimed that Maurizio Sarri was starting to grow anxious over Immobile’s situation and was also unhappy with the lack of reinforcements arriving from the transfer market.

  1. 1. With Tare out we need a new Sporting Director ASAP. We don’t need Lotito making these decisions it should be someone fully aligned with Sarri’s vision

    2. I love Immobile but he is getting relatively injury prone and 33 years old this might be the time to “sell high” and move on if we think strictly from a sporting standpoint and don’t let emotions get in the way

  2. he is old and often waste chances, he is finished. Time to go Ciro, thanks for the memories. the money could be used to buy younger and powerful Diego Simeone.
