Lazio are still open to making a move for Leandro Paredes and are in close contact with the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.

The Biancocelesti have not yet completed any signings this summer but have sold star man Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal for around €42 million.

Maurizio Sarri is starting to grow anxious, wanting Lazio to sign four or five new players, and so far only Valentin Castellanos of New York City FC seems close to joining the squad.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are still in talks for Paredes, open to picking up the PSG midfielder in a low-cost deal. The Parisians are currently asking for around €5 million.

The Biancocelesti are also working on a deal for Lucas Torreira, but Galatasaray are proving difficult to negotiate with, making progress slow.

Paredes only has one year left on his contract with PSG, so they may be forced to accept a lower fee in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.
