Lazio have reportedly started to draw up an offer for Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci as they work to bolster the squad.
The Biancocelesti have been quiet in the early stages of the summer transfer window, failing to complete a single signing after the first 20 days.
That is expected to change in the coming days as a deal has been agreed for New York City’s Valentin Castellanos, but regardless it’s clear that midfield reinforcements are needed after the sale of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio are preparing to offer Torino around €20m plus possibly add-ons for Ricci, keen to add the midfielder to Maurizio Sarri’s squad.
The 21-year-old, who is highly rated by Granata coach Ivan Juric, has a €25m price tag. Torino are not interested in accepting any players in exchange, meaning the Biancocelesti will have to invest if they want to snap up the Italian.
Lucas Torreira is another idea, but Galatasaray are seemingly resisting a deal for the time being, keeping one eye on the upcoming Champions League preliminary rounds.
