Lazio May Compete With Roma for Bayern Munich’s Sabitzer

Reports suggest that Lazio are thinking about joining Roma in the race to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.

The 29-year-old Austrian midfielder is seemingly not part of Thomas Tuchel’s project in Bavaria and could leave the club in the coming weeks, despite his desire to prove himself with the Bundesliga giants.

Roma have been interested in Sabitzer for over a month now but have failed to agree a deal with Bayern, only able to offer a loan deal.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lazio are considering entering the race to sign Sabitzer this summer, needing to bolster their midfield following the sale of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal.

The Austrian has two years left on his contract with Bayern Munich and has an estimated market value of around €20 million.

He spent the second half of last season on loan with Manchester United, where he scored three goals and provided one assist in 18 total appearances.

  1. I like him, he has quite an impressive engine, good footwork, reads the game well and is lowkey one of the most underrated midfielders in the recent years imo in Europe. Good tehnique, more then decent shot… quite a complete player and he has a desire clearly if he wants to prove himself at the Bavarians.

Let’s see how things progress but I’m very skeptical that we sign both say Zielinsky and Sabitzer (would be nice to snach him up from under Mourinhos nose though and indirectly our “neighbours” grasp. After Pedro, this would be great 😁 )

Whatever you do Lotito BRING THEM QUICK for Sarris sake ‼️
