Alfredo Pedulla suggests that Callum Hudson-Odoi is keen to join Lazio and negotiations with Chelsea are moving forward.
The Biancocelesti have been interested in the 22-year-old Englishman for a little while now, with Maurizio Sarri remembering him well from their season together in West London.
Hudson-Odoi’s career has been derailed by injuries and he’s no longer considered part of Mauricio Pochettino’s project at Chelsea, making a departure this summer extremely likely.
As reported by Pedulla, Lazio are continuing talks with Chelsea and are pushing to agree a deal, hoping to set up a loan with a buy option attached. The Blues would prefer the permanence clause to be an obligation, which could be worth around €15 million.
The 22-year-old English winger has already agreed to join Lazio and is now waiting for the two clubs to finalise a deal.
In the background, two other clubs are interested in signing Hudson-Odoi this summer, including Fulham, putting a little pressure on the Biancocelesti.
