Immobile Agent Arrives to Define Lazio Future

Marco Sommella, the agent of Lazio captain Ciro Immobile, has arrived in Auronzo di Cadore for talks with president Claudio Lotito.

The 33-year-old Italian striker has been the centre of attention in recent days after reports emerged detailing lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, putting his future in the Italian capital in doubt.

Lotito has made it clear that he has no intention of selling Immobile this summer and the player himself is seemingly happy to move forward with Lazio, despite the difficult season last term.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Sommella has now arrived at Lazio’s pre-season training retreat in Auronzo, where he’ll have a meeting with Lotito to define Immobile’s future.

There are two options on the table: officially presenting the offer from Saudi Arabia, or definitively closing out the idea of a departure whilst also exploring a new contract in Rome.

Immobile has grown into a talismanic figure for Lazio since his arrival in July 2016, scoring 196 goals in 297 games for the club.
