Fulham Pose Threat to Lazio in Race for Chelsea’s Hudson-Odoi

Lazio may face serious competition from Fulham in their race to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea.

The 22-year-old English winger only has a year left on his contract with the Blues and is expected to be sold this summer, lightening their wage bill and bringing in a little money.

The Biancocelesti are reportedly in advanced talks for Hudson-Odoi and Alfredo Pedulla suggested on Sunday that the winger had given the green light to the move to Rome.

As highlighted by Fabrizio Romano, Fulham could reopen talks with Chelsea for Hudson-Odoi following coach Marco Silva’s decision to reject an incredibly lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.

The Blues are keen to finalise his exit soon and aren’t willing to accept a loan deal, wanting him sold on a definitive transfer this summer.

The 22-year-old Englishman is expected to cost around €15-20 million, figures that are accessible for Lazio considering the sale of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal for €42m this month.
