Lazio Left Waiting for Sevilla Linked Djibril Sow

Almost a week has passed since Lazio agreed terms for Djibril Sow, but the club are still waiting for the Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder to make a decision.

On Tuesday this week, reports emerged detailing how the Biancocelesti had agreed a deal worth around €16 million for the Swiss midfielder, who was willing to pen a five-year contract in Rome worth circa €2 million net per season.

Lazio finally looked ready to make their second signing of the summer transfer window, but over the last few days barely any progress has been made, with both Sevilla and Napoli emerging to try and compete for his signature.

Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) details how Maurizio Sarri is anxious over the lack of progress for Djibril Sow and so will meet with Lazio president Claudio Lotito in the coming days to discuss the situation.

Yesterday, the 26-year-old Swiss midfielder returned from Eintracht Frankfurt’s pre-season tour in Austria and he’s now ready to talk to his family to decide his next move.

    2. It’s s the president who doesn’t replace a washed up DS after allowing him to leave and not the club. But you are a child so you are welcome for the education.
