Lazio are closing in on a deal with FC Midtjylland for winger Gustav Isaksen and things are expected to be completed in the coming days, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
The Biancocelesti have started to accelerate in the summer transfer window following a recent meeting between Maurizio Sarri and Claudio Lotito, where the pair finally started to see eye to eye regarding the market.
Lazio are working to sign Daichi Kamada on a free transfer and are also negotiating a deal with Torino for talented midfielder Samuele Ricci, two reinforcements who would significantly strengthen Sarri’s squad.
As reported by Di Marzio, Lazio’s talks with Midtjylland for Isaksen are progressing well and the two clubs have now formally started the bureaucratic process regarding the transfer.
The Biancocelesti are willing to pay around €12 million for the 22-year-old Danish winger, who could arrive in Rome for his medicals on Monday 7th August.
Last season, Isaksen scored 22 goals and provided nine assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
