Official: Floriani Mussolini Switches Lazio for Pescara

Lazio youngster Romano Floriani Mussolini has left the Italian capital to join Pescara on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old right back joined the Biancocelesti youth system in July 2016 after leaving intercity rivals Roma on a free transfer. In 2018, he spent six months on loan with Vigor Perconti.

Floriani Mussolini has slowly progressed up Lazio’s youth system over the last few years and has made 65 appearances for the Primavera side, providing 10 assists in that time. He has not yet made his first team debut in Rome.

As announced by Lazio, Floriani Mussolini has now left the Roman club to join Pescara on a season-long loan deal.

The Biancocelesti are keen for him to continue his development with regular playing time before returning to the Italian capital next summer.

The move to Pescara will give Floriani Mussolini the opportunity to work with famed coach Zdenek Zeman, who is well known for his attacking football and developing youth talent.
