FC Midtjylland winger Gustav Isaksen is set to arrive in Rome today as he prepares to complete his transfer to Lazio.
The Biancocelesti recently completed their second signing of the summer transfer window, picking up Daichi Kamada on a free transfer, and are continuing to push for reinforcements as the Serie A season nears.
Lazio have reached a total agreement with Midtjylland for Isaksen, ready to pay around €12 million plus add-ons for the 22-year-old Danish winger, who has agreed to sign a five-year deal worth €1.2 million net per season.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Isaksen will land in Rome today ahead of his pre-transfer medicals with Lazio tomorrow. Once those have been completed, he’ll pen his five-year contract and join Maurizio Sarri’s squad.
Yesterday afternoon, the Biancocelesti and Midtjylland exchanged the transfer documents, completing the bureaucratic process.
A product of the Midtjylland youth system, Isaksen scored 33 goals and provided 18 assists in 139 first team appearances.
