Official: Isaksen Joins Lazio From FC Midtjylland

Gustav Isaksen has officially completed his transfer from FC Midtjylland to Lazio, signing a long-term contract.

The Biancocelesti have been in the market for a new right winger for a number of weeks and have considered a long list of options, including Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi and Bologna’s Riccardo Orsolini.

After a slow start to the summer transfer window, Lazio have started to accelerate in recent weeks, welcoming midfielder Daichi Kamada in addition to striker Valentin Castellanos. A new offer is also being drawn up for Torino starlet Samuele Ricci, and a new left back could arrive as well.

As announced today, Lazio have welcome Isaksen in a definitive transfer from FC Midtjylland, tying him down to a long-term contract. The five-year deal is reportedly worth around €1.5 million net per season, and his move from Denmark cost around €10m plus add-ons.

A product of FC Midtjylland’s youth system, the Danish winger scored 33 goals and provided 18 assists in 139 first team appearances, being one of the stars of their show last season.
