Lazio are continue to press Juventus for Nicolo Rovella but a high price tag could cause negotiations to collapse.
The Biancocelesti want to pick up a new midfielder alongside Daichi Kamada to bolster Maurizio Sarri’s midfield and they’ve started to accelerate after giving up on Torino starlet Samuele Ricci.
Lazio identified Rovella as an interesting target and mentioned him during talks with Juventus involving Luca Pellegrini, allowing them to start exploring a possible move for the 21-year-old, who returned from Monza last month.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are in constant contact with Juventus regarding Rovella but could be forced to move away as a €23-24 million price tag has been put on the former Genoa talent.
The Biancocelesti will continue negotiations but will likely now start considering other options as well, although the €42 million sale of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal suggests that they would have the resources necessary to invest.
