Luis Alberto still hasn’t signed his new Lazio contract and Al-Nassr have taken notice, readying a new offer.

The 30-year-old Spaniard has not had an easy few weeks with the Biancocelesti, stemming from his frustrations regarding the lack of progress with his new contract.

After a brief revolt, which saw him not join the squad for their friendly against Aston Villa, Luis Alberto has now been reintegrated into the Lazio squad and has been quietly preparing for the new season.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Luis Alberto’s situation didn’t go unnoticed in Saudi Arabia and Al-Nassr have decided to draw up a new offer for the 30-year-old.

The Spaniard does not want to leave Rome and it’s hard to imagine a deal being completed at this stage, but the Saudi side will try regardless. Luis Alberto is expected to sign his new contract with Lazio in the coming weeks.

  1. Get rid of this guy before it’s too late, he’s a cancer, always complaining, never happy. And it looks like he’s headed to the bench with faster and more complete players (Rovella, Kamada) coming in. I can already see him crying about it.
Send him to Al-Nassr and use that money for another strong signing in the midfield. (DePaul?)

    1. They should give what they agreed, respect the player and he will do the business as he did last season. Not difficult, but if lotito is secretly wanting him out? Different story

      1. Concordo con te 👏 respect the man and go with the deal. If then you want, penalise his behaviour (keep in mind he agreed he made a mistake and apologised to his teammates) but again, keep the agreement so we don’t end up with issues in the locker room.

    2. If we’d know for sure DePaul will come, Lotito goes for him and Atleti to agree this late sale maybe I’d be for it, but what do you think it’s the likelihood of it? Remember, we must give Liverpool also 30% of his sale so are the Saudis giving us about 50 mil(minimum) ? The Argentinian is a workhorse and has great qualities indeed, but he can’t match Il Magos vision or creative abilities (in turn, this could indeed be forgot IF Kamada and Rovella will immediately impact however that’s a question mark).

His tantrums aren’t good but he also calmed down fairly quickly plus Simone managed him well and Sarri got the middle ground too. I don’t think this will happen.

    3. What are You talking about? He is by far best Lazio player now and last three years. Lazionis going to mid table team withot Sergej and Alberto. Kamada and this young lad from Juve? Come on.. Not even same legue.
