Lazio Finally Ready to Welcome Juventus Duo Rovella & Pellegrini

Lazio are finally ready to close out the double deal for Juventus pair Nicolo Rovella and Luca Pellegrini.

The Biancocelesti have been negotiating with the Bianconeri for around a week now, keen to welcome both the talented midfielder and the useful left back, the latter of whom spent the last half-season in Rome.

Lazio agreed to the terms of a deal with Juventus on Saturday last week, agreeing to sign them both on loans with obligation to buy clauses, worth around €27 million total between fees, commissions and the permanence clauses.

As highlighted by La Lazio Siamo Noi, the final details are now being completed and Lazio are ready to welcome Rovella and Pellegrini in Rome. They could undergo their medicals at the Paideia clinic later this week.

The current plan is to finalise the arrivals of both players before Friday, allowing them to quickly slot into Maurizio Sarri’s squad ahead of the season opener against Lecce on Sunday.

  1. I wonder if the news of Goundezi from OM are true. Unless Basic or Marcos Antonio leave, I doubt it. But I do like the idea of Goundezi bc he is def underrated and wouldn’t cost too much considering he is asking to be sold.

Let’s see. Meanwhile welcome Luca and Rovella, we need the official announcement. Also Felipe Andersons raise? Has Luis Alberto signed the contract? They should make some official posts….

    Forza Lazio

  2. They should definitely make official posts, great to hear this as we need as much squad depth as possible to help us be successful in the serie an and UCL. I am very excited about rovella. Also i think guendouzi would be worth looking at.

  3. Honestly, I am disappointed in our market this summer. After watching the team master the beautiful & effective Sarriball during most the season, after securing the UCL qualification & the 2nd place, highest in more than 2 decades, I thought that the management would work hard to seize this opportunity to pin the team into the top 3 spots for several seasons to come, and even try to push up a little and fight for the 3rd title. But the market does not say that at all. I hope I am wrong.

    Sempre Forza Lazio
