Lazio have officially announced the arrival of Nicolo Rovella, who has joined on a two-year loan deal from Juventus.
The 21-year-old Italian midfielder underwent his medicals at the Paideia clinic in Rome this morning before putting pen to paper on his two-year loan deal, which includes a conditional obligation to buy clause.
As officially announced, Rovella signed his Lazio contract before attending his first training session under Maurizio Sarri at Formello yesterday.
The talented midfielder has chosen to wear the shirt number 65, the number he previously wore during his time with Genoa.
Rovella is joining Lazio in a double deal that also includes Luca Pellegrini, who will also join on a two-year loan deal. The total operation, between fees, commissions and the clauses, is worth around €27 million.
The Italian midfielder is an important addition to Sarri’s squad, giving him more options in the centre of the pitch, and his potential makes him an exciting acquisition for the team.
