Zaccagni Agent Pushing for New Lazio Contract

Agent Mario Giuffredi is pushing Lazio to set up a new contract for Mattia Zaccagni after working on the arrival of Luigi Sepe.

The Italian agent represents both the Biancocelesti star and the Salernitana goalkeeper, who will join on loan in the coming days to be the backup to Ivan Provedel.

Lazio have already drawn up a new contract for Luis Alberto and they are keen to tie down a few more key players in the coming weeks, shoring up Maurizio Sarri’s squad.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Giuffredi has asked Claudio Lotito to start negotiations for a new contract for his client Zaccagni, who has two years left on his current Lazio deal.

The 28-year-old Italian winger wants around €3.5 million net per season and is keen for a new four-year agreement, tying him to the club until June 2027.

Zaccagni has scored 15 goals and provided 17 assists in 82 appearances so far in the Italian capital.

  1. We do need to tie him down, how much is he on now? 3.5 in our team might be a bit kf a stretch and I think that should only be reached with bonuses. Idk, I’m not an expert but I think he is on around 1.2mil which is indeed little. But he could also be on around close to 2mil (if he had a raise after the good 1st season) so yeah… what do others think?
