Lazio sporting director Angelo Fabiani has started to keep a close eye on Palmeiras winger Artur ahead of next summer’s transfer window.
The Biancocelesti are in the early stages of their post-Igli Tare era and the team notably invested in more interesting talents in the summer, picking up players like Daichi Kamada, Nicolo Rovella and Gustav Isaksen.
Lazio are at a crucial point in Maurizio Sarri’s project in the Italian capital and strong results in both Serie A and the Champions League this season will prove decisive for their work in next summer’s transfer window.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Fabiani and his scouting team at Lazio have started to closely follow Artur, keeping an eye on his work with Palmeiras.
The 25-year-old Brazilian winger is valued at around €16 million and Lazio would be willing to offer him a five-year contract. Talks are still in their early stages but Sarri has already given his green light to the move.
This season, Artur has scored 13 goals and provided three assists in 47 total appearances for Palmeiras.
