Maurizio Sarri sent a message to his Lazio squad ahead of their tough away trip to Juventus, wanting to see the right performance.
The Biancocelesti have looked frustrating in the early stages of the new season, with the team suffering back-to-back losses to Lecce and Genoa before securing an unexpected away win over Scudetto holders Napoli.
Lazio are desperate to stay involved in the race for a top four finish and picking up a win over Juventus could prove crucial as things come to a head in the latter stages of the season.
As highlighted by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Sarri wants to see his Lazio squad put on a good show against Juventus following their win over Napoli, firing them up with a small speech after their victory in Campania.
He told his players: “I want the Lazio of Napoli, this is the right attitude. My hope is to give consistency to tonight’s match, but we know we’re vulnerable in this respect.”
Lazio have a fully fit squad heading into the match at the Allianz Stadium and will be hoping that Juventus’ off-pitch issues – like the Leonardo Bonucci case or Paul Pogba situation – will add distraction to proceedings for the home side.
