Lazio winger Felipe Anderson is currently negotiating the terms of a new contract with Lazio, keen to pen a new long-term deal.
The 30-year-old Brazilian forward has been a key figure for Maurizio Sarri since making his return from West Ham in the summer of 2021.
Last season, Felipe Anderson scored 12 goals and provided nine assists across 50 total appearances for Lazio, playing a crucial role in their second-place finish in Serie A.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Felipe Anderson’s sister and agent met with Lazio president Claudio Lotito at Formello on Saturday to start drawing up the terms of a new contract. His current deal expires at the end of this season.
The Brazilian winger is asking for a salary of €3 million net per season, but the club’s highest offer for now is €2.5 million. Talks will continue in the coming weeks as both parties work to reach an agreement.
