Lazio Fans Blocked From Attending UCL Away Clash With Feyenoord

Lazio have confirmed that fans will be unable to attend the upcoming Champions League clash away to Feyenoord.

The Biancocelesti have started their European campaign well, despite their domestic woes, and currently sit tied at the top of Group E on four points, the same as Atletico Madrid.

Maurizio Sarri’s side secured a 1-1 draw with Atletico and a dramatic 2-1 win over Celtic, giving them a good chance of qualifying for the Round of 16. A win over Feyenoord would further increase the odds, making it a vital clash for Lazio.

As announced in a statement, Dutch security authorities have decided that its unsafe for Lazio fans to attend the De Kuip for the upcoming Champions League clash with Feyenoord, so no away fans will be permitted access.

Authorities in Italy have already made it clear that Feyenoord fans will not be allowed to attend the second match in Rome on 7th November, so it may be a retaliatory measure.
