Felipe Anderson is getting closer to agreeing a new contract with Lazio after recent meetings between his entourage and the club.
TMW details how the 30-year-old Brazilian winger has entered the last year of his deal in the Italian capital and the club have no intention to let him leave on a free transfer, so have been hard at work negotiating the terms of a new contract.
Felipe Anderson is asking for a salary of around €3.5m net per season, having accepted a pay cut to return to Lazio in the summer of 2021. Whilst there’s still a gap between offer and request, both parties are feeling confident that a deal can be agreed soon.
Felipe Anderson is happy with the Biancocelesti, despite interest from Saudi Arabia in the summer, and is keen to resolve the situation in the coming months.
This season, the Brazilian winger has scored one goal and provided four assists across nine Serie A matches.
